Launch of the World’s First Sustainable Tyre Factory
The launch of our cutting-edge factory in Ski marked a groundbreaking moment for reTyre and the tyre industry. This facility is not just a manufacturing site, but a demonstration of how advanced technology can reshape tyre production. With application of new technologies, innovations, smart automation, and local production capabilities, we are drastically reducing greenhouse gas emissions and streamlining supply chains. Our unique approach combines innovative materials with energy-efficient processes, setting new standards for sustainable manufacturing.
Expanding Partnerships
2024 saw us forging impactful collaborations across various segments, from kids’ bikes and premium bikes to e-bikes, prams, strollers, and beyond.
Frog Bikes, renowned for their high-quality children’s bikes, and Thule, a global leader in outdoor gear, were proudly announced as our 2024 partners and the first of many adopting reTyre’s sustainable solutions. These two brands will lead the way in 2025, debuting reTyre tyres on their products.

Breakthrough Innovations
Our fully sustainable product portfolio now spans city bicycle tyres, all-terrain options, kids’ bike tyres and pram tyres, with a comprehensive range of rubber-free pneumatic, sleeve, and foam tyres. With advanced customisation options in design and materials, reTyre is leading the way in sustainable alternatives.
2024 also saw the development of groundbreaking concepts, such as the World’s First Carbon-Neutral Tyre Made from 100% Reclaimed Materials. Crafted using algae and post-consumer waste, this tyre was developed in collaboration with BLOOM Materials, an organisation harvesting algae from lakes and oceans as part of the UN Ecosystem Restoration Programme.
Additionally, our UV-reactive tyre, designed for children, combines safety with visual appeal, while material innovations, like bio-based feedstocks, are reshaping possibilities in material usage in tyre industry.
Beyond product development, we’ve invested heavily in transparent Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs). These provide our partners and customers with the data they need to make informed decisions while raising industry standards for sustainability, which is more important than ever, as sustainability trends are reshaping the future.
Global Showcases
From Taipei and Taichung Bike Week to Eurobike Show and Kind + Jugend, 2024 was a year of connecting with the global cycling and mobility communities. These events not only showcased our innovations but reinforced our dedication to driving sustainability and building a greener future.
Major milestones included unveiling new products and concepts, while others focused on strengthening connections in key regions, sharing our vision and expertise, and receiving incredible feedback.

From an increasing number of eco-friendly products to insightful panels and discussions, it’s clear that sustainability is becoming a top priority in the cycling world—a shift we are proud to champion firsthand.
