We are proud to announce that reTyre has taken a significant step in our journey towards sustainability by becoming a signatory of the United Nations Global Compact initiative. This is a major milestone in our commitment to fostering a sustainable future, and we’re excited to share this news with our valued customers and partners.
The UN Global Compact is the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative, with a mission to mobilize companies around the world to align their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labour, environment, and anti-corruption – The Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact.
As a signatory of the UN Global Compact, reTyre has pledged to incorporate these principles into our business strategy, culture, and day-to-day operations. We’re fully committed to making a positive impact on the world through our innovative and sustainable tyre solutions.
This move aligns perfectly with our vision and values. Since our establishment in 2015, we’ve been dedicated to creating a cleaner, greener future. We’ve always believed in the power of innovation to drive sustainable change, and our support of the UN Global Compact further solidifies this commitment.
Our recent launch of the world’s first pneumatic bicycle tyre made entirely without rubber demonstrates how we’re putting these principles into action. These innovative tyres, made from bio-based thermoplastic elastomers, are 100% reusable and outperform conventional rubber tyres. By fostering a closed-loop circular economy, we’re not only revolutionising the tyre industry but also contributing to a more sustainable world.
We’re excited about the journey ahead and are eager to work with other signatories of the UN Global Compact to advance sustainability in the corporate world. We believe that by working together, we can make a significant impact!
We want to thank our customers and partners for their ongoing support. It’s because of you that we’re able to continue pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the tyre industry. We invite you to join us in our journey towards a more sustainable future.
Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to align our operations to The Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact and work towards our goal of a cleaner, greener future!
